Current working staffs and Volunteers

Yorth Bunny

Mr. YORTH Bunny, CCBEN Coordinator, is responsible for managing CCBEN projects and for supporting and coordinating network which includes NGOs, private companies, government counterparts and other developing partners.

 

Bunny started working for CCBEN in August, 2009 and has competence and skills in development management, communication, human rights, legal analysis and advocacy. With these qualifications, Bunny thanks to working experience from Community Legal Education Center and knowledge gained from a Bachelor in Public Law (2004, Norton), a Bachelor in Media Management (2006, RUPP) and a Master in Development Studies (2009, AIT Center in Vietnam and Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, Switzerland).

 
Ear Tayching, IT Officer of CCBEN

Mr. Ear Tayching, IT Officer of CCBEN, is responsible for developing and maintaining the CCBEN website and other member's websites as request, designing posters and brochures, controlling the network and the Internet system and helping out with every Computer problem.

 

Tayching started working for CCBEN in the beginning of 2007. Tayching finished a Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences at RUPP (Royal University of Phnom Penh) in 2009.

 
Phorn Ratanak, Finance and Administration Officer of CCBEN

Mr. Phorn Rathanak, Finance and Administration Officer of CCBEN, is responsible for recording finance data in the database, keeping track of expenses and incomes and reporting on a monthly basis.

 

Rathanak started working for CCBEN in January 2008. He has a Bachelor in Accounting at the National University of Management in Phnom Penh and is a Master student of Management at the Norton University in Phnom Penh.

 
 

Mr. Sok Vathanak, Training Unit Officer of CCBEN, is responsible for organizing and providing trainings both in Phnom Penh and other provinces.

 

Vathanak started working for CCBEN in May 2010. He has a Bachelor in Tourism Management at RUPP (Royal University of Phnom Penh).

 

 
Ty Ratana, CCBEN Northeast Project manager

Mrs. Ty Ratana, Project Manager of Kratie Province within CCBEN, is responsible for developing an overall project planning, a strategy and budget plan and writing reports including progress reports and final reports for the donors. In addition to that she has to monitor and evaluate projects and is responsible for the communication with donors/partners as well as with other stakeholders if necessary.

 

Ratana started working for CCBEN in February 2009. She has a Bachelor in Agriculture Skills at the Maharushi Vedic University in Prey Veng Province (2000-2004).

 
Cheb Chanthon, the assistant to the Training Unit Officer of CCBEN

Mr. CHEB Chanthon, NE Project Assistant of CCBEN, is assisting CBET capacity building in Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri provinces (northeastern Cambodia) through providing CBET capacity building and implementing project.

 

Chanthon started working for CCBEN in April, 2009. He has a Bachelor in Tourism Management at Royal University of Phnom Penh.

 
Meas Srey Roth, cleaner and office supporter of CCBEN

Ms. Meas Srey Roth, office supporter of CCBEN, is responsible for office work and assists in administrator works.

 

Roth started working for CCBEN in October 2008. She is a student at the Finance and Economic Institute of Phnom Penh.

 

 

Ex-staffs and Volunteers

Jan Hagelauer

Mr. Jan Hagelauer is volunteer who support in IT unit as IT advisor. Jan helped in technical work with IT, Solved computer's problem, made new Ecotourism website and joined with feasibility group.

 

Jan started working for CCBEN in November 2009 till for six months.

 
Than Pisey

Ms. Than Pisey assistant to the Finance/Administration Officer of CCBEN, is helping the Finance/Administration Officer in recording finance data in the database, keeping track of expenses and incomes and reporting on a monthly basis.

 

Pisey started working for CCBEN in 2009. She was a year III study at Preah Kosomak University in Financial Field at that time.

 
Mr. Houng Koketean-CCBEN ex-staff

Mr. Houng Koktean, Project Officer of Kratie province within CCBEN, is responsible for preparing and delivering trainings in the field of ecotourism.

Koktean started working for CCBEN in February 2009.

 

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management at the RUPP (Royal University of Phnom Penh) and a Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the Institute of Foreign Languages in Phnom Penh.
 
Anna Isabel Priess, international volunteer of CCBEN

Ms. Anna Isabel Priess, international volunteer of CCBEN, is responsible for collecting information on the CBET Directory, checking the CCBEN website and looking after the library. In addition to that she has written texts for a website and filled in the CCBEN database.

 

Anna started working for CCBEN in October 2008.She has graduated from high school in June 2008 in Cologne, Germany.

 
Sok Sophea, CCBEN Coordinator

Ms. Sok Sophea, CCBEN Coordinator, is responsible for coordinating, strengthening and sustaining the network, promoting the community based ecotourism (CBET) projects of CCBEN’s members, coordinating and supporting the staffs and volunteers. She is also in charge of managing one project called “Community in International Business” and oversees all the projects in CCBEN.

 

Sophea started working for CCBEN in January 2007 as a volunteer and has been promoted as the Coordinator in July 2007.

 

She has a Bachelor of Art in Tourism Management, Royal University of Phnom Penh (2007) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting at the National Institute of Business in Phnom Penh (2006). To build up the capacity, Sophea has commenced a Master Degree in Development Study at the IMAS program (Vietnam-Cambodia-Switzerland). She stopped working for CCBEN in 2009.

 
Ul Socheat, Training Unit Officer of CCBEN

Ms. Ul Socheat, Training Unit Officer of CCBEN, is responsible for organizing and providing trainings both in Phnom Penh and other provinces and assisting in CBT in International Business Projects.

 

Socheat started working for CCBEN in June 2008. She has a Bachelor in Tourism Management at RUPP (Royal University of Phnom Penh).

 

Socheat resigned from CCBEN in April 2010 in order to continue her Master degree in Philippine.

 
Julia Stuerzer-CCBEN international ex-volunteer

Ms. Stuerzer Julia, international volunteer of CCBEN, is responsible for collecting information on the CBET Directory and checking the CCBEN website. In addition to that she has written a summery about the book “Climate Change and Tourism”.

 

Julia started working for CCBEN in September 2009. Julia has graduated from high school in June 2005 in Munich, Germany. Now she is studing Economic Geograhy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany

 
Sar Voleak, CCBEN Ex-Volunteer

Ms. Sar Voleak, CCBEN IT unit's Volunteer, assist in designing posters, cover pages for books, etc., helping in Designing websites and developing a training book on Microsoft Word in Khmer language.

 

Voleak started working for CCBEN in March 2009. She has a Bachelor in IT at the RUPP (Royal University of Phnom Penh).

 
Sean Sreymom - CCBEN Ex-volunteer

Ms. Sean Sreymom is a Volunteer in Marketing and Networking Unit of CCBEN.

Sreymom's working tasks is organizing the directory and translating CCBEN English website to Khmer.

 

What I like about my work at CCBEN is to gain work experience in the field of Marketing and translating, especially ecotourism and the nice working atmosphere. Her hobbies are traveling to tourism site,  playing tennis and reading books.

 

Sreymon work with CCBEN since September 2009, and she is a student at Marketing of Preah Kosomak Polytechnic institute and also a student at English Literature of Phnom Penh International University.

 
Prum Bopha, assistant to the Finance/Administration Officer of CCBEN

Ms. Prum Bopha, assistant to the Finance/Administration Officer of CCBEN, is helping the Finance/Administration Officer in recording finance data in the database, keeping track of expenses and incomes and reporting on a monthly basis.

 

Bopha started working for CCBEN in May 2009 for 3months. She has a Bachelor in Finance and Banking at the Human Resource University in Phnom Penh.

 
Hak Panharat

Mr. Hak Panharat, a voluntary worker as an Information Technology Officer’s Assistant. Having held the position for 200 hours, starting from July 2 to September 12, 2009. He prepared lessons for, taught, and facilitated a CCBEN’s five-day training in “Computer Skill for Tourism” to officers from Departments of Tourism of Kratie and Stung Treng province, supported in finding document for digital library and wrote a scenario and a script for a four-plot play educating people about the promotion of eco-tourism through community, more specifically about waste disposal, noise and water pollution, wildlife disruption, and indigenous culture spoilage..

 

Panha was a year III student at Royal university of Phnom Penh in Environmental Science and Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia at that time, 2009.

 
Mirjam Wulff

Ms. Mirjam Wulff is from Amsterdam, Netherlands. She worked as CCBEN's advisor who advised and supported technical works, website template and other work suggested by CCBEN.

 

Mirjam started working for CCBEN from August to December 2007.

 
Chhorn Sovanna

Ms. Chhorn Sovanna is an Coordinator Assistant who supported Coordinator works such as preparing documents, invitation letters, organizing member meeting and other works suggested by Coordinator.

 

Vanna started working for CCBEN in July 2007 for 3months. She was a year II study at Royal University of Phnom Penh in Tourism Field at that time.
